"Thank you so much for officiating our wedding.  I knew the message would be thought-provoking & poignant.  So nice that you tuned into "us" when we met.  Thanks again for the best wedding of our lives." - Vici & Bill G.
Step Two:  Ceremony
Considerations for the Ceremony
Picture

  • Have you always dreamed of a very big celebration or something much smaller and more intimate?
  • Do you just want to get away and get married, without all the fuss and expense?  Eloping may be for you.
  • If this is a renewal ceremony, why do you want to recommit to each other, and how do you want to express that in front of your guests?
  • Daytime or nighttime ceremony?  Indoor or outdoor?
  • Formal or informal?  Traditional or contemporary?
  • Do you dream of a destination wedding or ceremony?
  • Are there weather considerations to think about for you or your guests, such as being married outside in winter?
  • Do you need to move your guests from one location to another, and if so, how will you accomplish that?

The Ceremony Itself

  • Traditional religious ceremony from your current or childhood faith?
  • Civil ceremony?
  • Personalized ceremony created just for the two of you that reflects what you believe and want to say?
  • Write your own vows?  If so, see some helpful tips by clicking on the link below.
  • Include certain elements you've seen  at other weddings, or repeat traditions from you or your families?
  • Would you like to create a tradition within your ceremony that you can repeat on your anniversaries?
  • Are children, pets or others to be included?

Anything's Possible!

Let's Make Your Dreams Come True
Whether it's performing a civil or traditional ceremony from most any religion, to creating something that is very personal and meaningful, we can do it!  We can craft traditions that you can re-create on your anniversaries for years to come, such as rose ceremonies, candle lighting ceremonies, or something even more personal to just the two of you.

When I create a personalized ceremony, I will give you a written copy of it so that you will always be able to relive your very personal and meaningful day, remembering exactly what was said.
